Libertarians in Sacramento, April 11 - 13

Purpose

Libertarians take Sacramento (if only for the weekend!)


Date & Location

The Libertarian Party of California invites its candidates, members, supporters, the public and the media to a rally to be held on the steps of the State Capitol in Sacramento, Friday, April 11th from 3-4 PM.


Candidate Speakers

  • Steve Cottrell, a Nevada City Council Member, former Mayor, and LPCA endorsed candidate for City Clerk.

  • Wayne Allyn Root, Candidate for President of the United States

  • Jesse Thomas, Candidate for State Senate, District 39 (San Diego)

  • Mike Mendez, Candidate for State Assembly, District 61 (Montclair, Ontario, Chino, Pomona)

  • Brian Holtz, Candidate for US Congress, District 14 (Belmont, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Mt. View )


    Program

    Friday, April 11th -- Rally

  • 3 -  4 PM: State Capitol Rally

    Join us on the on the Capitol steps facing Tenth (10th) Street for the rally. [ Map ]


  • 5 - 11 PM: Dinner & Country Western Dancing

    After the rally, join us for dinner & dancing (Texas two step, WCS, line dancing, & waltz) in Sacramento's Uptown Arts District. Bring your Western wear!

    Saturday, April 12th -- Festival

  • 10 AM - 3 PM: "Freedom Festival" sponsored by Miss Joy's Music Foundation

    The Party has been invited to participate in a voter education event on the Capitol steps facing Tenth (10th) Street. [ Map ]

  • 3 - 4:30 PM: State Capitol Tour

    Come join the state Legislative candidates as they tour the Capitol and visit the chambers they could serve in.


  • 5:30 PM: Group Dinner

    Sunday, April 13th -- EC Meeting

  • 10 AM - 5 PM: Executive Committee Meeting

    Quarterly meeting of the LPCA State Executive Committee.
